Menggali Kearifan Rasulullah: Landasan Moderasi Beragama dalam Menyelesaikan Konflik
Abstract
Unity and cohesion serve as the fundamental pillars for the sustainability and progress of a nation, particularly in the diverse religious landscape of Indonesia. Confronting the complexity of a society with diverse beliefs, religious moderation becomes crucial in maintaining peace and stability. This paper delves into the significance of religious moderation as a foundation for preserving balance between plurality and harmony within a diverse society. The study employs a literature analysis approach, revealing that by referencing the methods employed by Prophet Muhammad in resolving religious conflicts of his time, this research identifies principles of religious moderation adaptable to the current context of Indonesian society. Key steps such as identifying involved parties, facilitating open dialogue, and emphasizing shared values are pivotal in achieving solutions acceptable to all. Drawing wisdom from Prophet Muhammad's approach to religious conflicts, the study concludes that an approach emphasizing equality, respect, and gentle communication serves as valuable guidance in resolving interfaith conflicts.
